What does it mean to be a LUMA certified practitioner of human-centered design?
LUMA defines human-centered design as the discipline of developing solutions in the service of people.
In general, it's an activities-based approach to creative problem-solving that focuses on people above other factors - whether the challenge is making a better product, process, service, or anything else.
We offer training through our Practitioner Certification Program.
Participants who successfully complete our Practitioner Certification Program requirements will earn LUMA Practitioner Certification in recognition of your new design skills and accomplishments. You’ll receive a customized, downloadable certification document as well as a digital badge to share on social media and in your email signature.
