How do I become a certified LUMA Instructor?

There are a few paths in which one becomes a certified instructor.

The most direct route is through employment here at LUMA. When we have openings for full-time instructors, they'll be posted on the Join our Team page.

Alternatively, you can apply to become a LUMA Teaching + Learning Partner. 

The other route is through a broader relationship between LUMA and your organization. For organizations that want to scale more broadly, we help enable LUMA Instructors by co-teaching Practitioner Certification Programs with us at their organizations. This is typically offered with organizations who have a deep relationship with LUMA. If you feel this is something your organization would be interested in, please contact us.

Although we do not publicly offer our Instructor Certification Program, if you're interested in furthering your skills in human-centered design we now offer our Facilitator Certification Program to the public. If you have already completed our Practitioner Certification Program, you are welcome to register for the Facilitator Certification Program.
