LUMA defines human-centered design as the discipline of developing solutions in the service of people.
In general, it's an activities-based approach to creative problem-solving that focuses on people above other factors - whether the challenge is making a better product, process, service, or anything else.
Participants who successfully complete our Practitioner Certification Program requirements will earn LUMA Practitioner Certification in recognition of your new design skills and accomplishments. You’ll receive a customized, downloadable certification document as well as a digital badge to share on social media and in your email signature.
Update July 13, 2020: LUMA Institute has canceled all in-person public programs and workshops through 2020 in the interest of the safety of our workshop attendees, as well as the LUMA team, during the COVID-19 pandemic.
